Käpt’n Blaubär is one of the most successful children’s series on German television. In 2011, WDR produced Käpt’n Blaubärs wunderbare Wunderkammer, a puppet series featuring ten mini-musicals by Walter Moers. Each marvel, narrated by acclaimed German actor Wolfgang Völz, was accompanied by music composed by Thomas Pigor and Andreas Grimm.
