Andreas Grimm: A hard-hitting affair, just as the warlike title music suggests. The entrance themes reveal how differently the bitter “rivals” are shaped. One theme, two perspectives – rural and down-to-earth vs. urban and suave.
Elton vs. Simon was a German comedy game show in which hosts Elton and Simon Gosejohann competed against each other in bizarre challenges. The show was based on the Canadian format Kenny vs. Spenny and aired on ProSieben from 2004 to 2012. In the first two seasons, each episode featured a single competition—for example, who could stay awake the longest. Starting in the third season, several smaller contests were held in front of a live audience. The loser had to endure a punishment chosen by the winner at the end of each episode. In 2008, the show was awarded the German Comedy Award (Deutscher Comedypreis) for Best Comedy Show.
